Thrive, Nurture and Grow When the Odds are Against You

During the last two years of my mother’s life, I worked as her full-time health care aide. And while, at times. Life was incredibly hard. I reinvented myself as:

* A life design coach

* Speaker

* Podcaster

* Mentor to my co-host of the ‘Life Is A Classroom Podcast’, Sam who contemplated suicide four years ago

* Started the Life Is a Classroom Foundation to honour my deceased parents, Joseph who passed away from cancer in February 2004 and Celia who passed away from vascular dementia in May 2023.

We can do hard things and thrive.

Part two of our conversation with Dr. Anne Redelfs is a Doctor of Medicine who works in Psychological Development to help people work through their unresolved trauma. This helps people emotionally, mentally, and relationally as well as helping with some of the physical issues that may manifest as a result of the psychological issues. Her mission is to focus on the underlying cause instead of just treating the symptoms.
